Kids Tennis Competitions & Tennis Tournaments on Sydney’s North Shore
Tennis Competitions create opportunities for kids. Competing is an important aspect for the development of your kid’s tennis to gain experience, practice what they have learnt during their tennis lessons, learn to score and to socialise. If your child wants to get into some regular tennis and improve their game, try one of our competitions held throughout the school term today!
The ANZ Hot Shots Tennis Comps (for 5-13yr olds) are designed specifically to teach children how to score, where to stand on a tennis court and how to play the game of tennis from an early age. All standards and ages are catered for. Our competitions are fully supervised with special assistance for new players. The programs are run in a simple, easy to play format.
Program Highlights:
- Players play on the smaller tennis courts, using lighter tennis racquets and low compression tennis balls that don’t bounce too high, making it fun and easy for participants to compete.
- Participants compete based on what stage of the player development they are up to in the tennis program.
- Each stage has different match formats to ensure participants are given the best on-court experience for their playing ability.
Hot Shots Kids Tennis Tournaments and Competitions are an excellent compliment to their Tennis Hot Shots class.
Red Ball Tennis Competitions (Ages 5-8yrs)
FORMAT: Best of 3 tiebreaks.
Next competition: Commences during the second week of each school term
Orange Ball Tennis Competitions (Ages 8-10yrs)
FORMAT: Round Robin. Singles and Doubles.
Next competition: Commences during the second week of each school term.
Green Ball Tennis Competitions (Ages 9+yrs)
FORMAT: Singles and Doubles. Set Format.
Next competition: Commences during the second week of each school term.
NSTA and TNB Tennis Competition
FORMAT: Two players per team (males and/or females). Two tie-break sets of both singles and doubles.
- 10:30am – 1pm – Advanced juniors and teenagers / young adults
